Camella's Teaching Schedule
Hatha Yoga in the west is usually only considered to be yogic postures & breath work, and this dilutes the very essence of the ancient teachings. Ideally, yoga involves the whole of a person's life, challenging and encouraging us to confront the age-old question of why we are here in the first place.
Camella is passionate about yoga as a science that has been passed down as an oral tradition for thousands of years from guru to disciple. This is reflected in a teaching style that honors each individual for where they are in their personal practice.
Asana is a small, though necessary part of the system, helping to still the mind and sensitize it to the subtle realms of spirit, and onwards to the level of cosmic consciousness.

108 Sun Salutations
Four times a year, on the two Solstices and the two Equinox, Camella leads a class in yoga tradition of 108 Salutations.
It is a deeply meaningful and mystical practice. Here is want one loving student had to say:
"Thank you for the 108 sun salutations! I’ve done the sequence twice now, and I’ve emerged with a feeling of accomplishment that is beyond merely meeting a physical challenge. I particularly appreciate how you encourage participants to focus forward consciously, with goals in mind for the forthcoming quarter. Thank you so much for this emphasis! I hope to attend this event each time it is offered."
Sincerely,
Barbara G., San Jose, CA
