Accessible Yoga Personal Retreat - July 31-Aug 2 2020
1440 Multiversity - Scotts Valley CA
Retreating away from our everyday lives I think is an important part of our spiritual development. The earth life' is not really supposed to be separate from our 'spiritual life' but sometimes the day to day demands take precedence, and it is for this reason that changing the daily routines away from home can create rejuvenation on many levels.
I have been attending and hosting retreats for decades because I recognize the value of the practice. In order to 'give it, we have to get it.' This means we need to work on our own personal practice. We all expend so much energy giving and supporting others that we need time to become inspired and feed our soul in deep and meaningful ways. Then we can take away pearls from the weekend into our work place, home life and greater world without further depleting our energy.
We don't have to worry about cooking food, that is going to be provided for us. The beds are cozy and comfortable and the setting is in Northern California, in the mountains close to Santa Cruz. 1440 Multiversity has been developed into a spectacular premier retreat center.
Jivana have many years of experience of formal yoga training and we are planning a retreat for spiritual growth that will include, self-study, yoga asana, pranayama, meditation, reflection, time in nature, chanting, ritual and of course sanga. The coming together of like-minded souls to enrich and uplift us in order to return into our world and make positive contributions.
We would love you to be a part of this spiritual connected family and join us on retreat.
